Who is Buka Bricks?

While I was working as an editor of a LEGO blog, I had the chance to visit so many different LEGO pages. The content I saw in those pages have always amazed me, and continue to do so. I learn something new every day, and every day I realize these content is only (or at least mostly) available in English.

So I asked myself, is there a reason for them to not be in Turkish?

That’s how my Buka Bricks journey started. I published my own articles mostly, and translated a few from known blogs when I got their permission. In 2024, a few others decided to join my journey. My goal was to make people say “Wow, I never knew this!

While I knew I had only a handful of readers, I continued. Knowing a source like this existed in Turkish was enough for me.

Lately, though, my thoughts has changed. Evolved. There are a few articles I’m really proud of, and I never came across similar ones on the other pages I visited. I started thinking they shouldn’t be limited to just one language. So I decided to translate the whole blog, step by step, into English, starting with the timeless articles.

My pride among those are the LEGO Animals, where you can find information of every LEGO animal ever released. They will be the first translations, others will follow.

Please be patient as I’m alone in this translation process, and there are more than 150 articles published :)

I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing. Have fun!
